Hello dear student,
Greetings!
It's should be your call whether you want to drop one more year or not. If you are someone who want
Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is the first private initiated engineering institute in West Bengal, India, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
Placement is good but not upto the mark and that is too for some branches only.Haldia has many petrochemical industry that's why most of the students from chemical department gets placement with average package. Most of its placement comes from CSE and IT branch as the company visiting the college is Infosys,Wipro, tech Mahindra etc. which recruit mostly in IT sector.Other department has less placement as compared to CSE and IT(75-80%).And coming to the internship,no college does not provide any internship.
The faculty of the college is fine. You get the best faculty for every stream. But you need to depend on yourself rather than on teachers. Your concepts and understanding are far more important. The faculty will provide you all the help and support available.
Thankyou
