A lot of discussion about the paper difficulty and about the cutoffs . Some of the sites are even suggesting the cutoff for the CRL to be somewhere around 75-80 whereas in 2016 it was 71 But as we all know, JEE saw a considerable loss in the Cutoffs in JEE 16, conducted by IIT GUWAHATI, and it was totally justified. This year, IIT-ROORKEE, as expected made a hard nut to crack. The paper was somewhere around the standards of JEE-16, exceeding it, maybe. But given the fact that chemistry remained a bit easier than expected, and there was a strike back in negative marking (-1 instead of -2) the cutoffs wont differ much from that of JEE 2016. Expect it to be somewhere around 75–80..
