Will JNU conduct separate History exams?

 actually Mam,i choose the field of study by Ancient Hist so what and how should i study for MA entrences?

thankyou maam, but i already have this link and have gone through it, but my queries are still not clear.please provide further guidance on how to prepare for this exam. 

To prepare for the exam, you are required to study ancient, medival and modern history along with basic social sciences and Current affairs.
Try to read the books provided in that link and if you have any problem please refer to the ncerts. Also i would recommend any good general knowledge like lucents book. For further reading you may refer to basic ncerts for social sciences . Read newspaper daily and prepare notes for current affairs. Rest depends on your hardwork. Manage time and start studying.

thankyou maam,i had just one more query, i want to study ma in ancient history, so while writing the entrance exam, do i need to solve all three question from all three history(ancient, medieval and modern) or i will have to write the answers of all the hostory.will the question paper  have an optional patern?

Questions from history section will be asked in section 3 of the question paper where there will be 12 questions asked from specific areas of history. You have to answer any two from those 12 questions. Thus, you may study accordingly.
