Online admission process for second and third year students has been started and their online lectures are also being conducted in some universities. For first year students online application process will start after xii board results are out.

Still there is no update regarding opening or beginning of degree colleges, as still there is lockdown . There is no fixed date for opening of Colleges. If the colleges will open , how lectures will be conducted , it will be updated in July.

It might be a mix of both infact. And classes might be held in shifts or on alternate days. The goal is to make sure the Academic year is not interrupted keeping in mind the careers of crores of students who pursue education. But this doesn't mean that lives can be put at stake. There might be new methods of teaching that we might see. It is important to follow the social distancing and sanitisation norms as well. Then it is important to reduce mass gatherings. If you have read in the newspaper, Tennis player Novak Djokovic conducted an exhibition match called Adria Tour. The reason was Serbia had eliminated Corona. Half way through the tour, more than 3 players and support staff tested positive for Coronavirus. Now though the final tour has been cancelled, few more top players and a whole lot of coaches and support staff tested positive for the virus. And we do not know the case with the audience who watched the matches. This is just an example of things might go out of our control. And so there might be online and offline classes. There might be new methods implemented as well.

There is nothing clear at this point of time most of the colleges are not issuing notice as it is not sure what condition is going to happen in this pandemic. As the pandemic is staying too long IITs, IIMs are trying to go for online lectures and thus it may be possible that degree colleges will start online lectures for now till pandemic.
