Will PEC Chandigarh become IIT? If yes, then when? Will students studying there from before get the benefit of PEC becoming an IIT?

Hey John,
I think it is too late to become PEC to IIT.
If PEC become IIT then all the things will be change. Like machines in workshop will change, classes will be improved , budget will be increase , new teachers will come, syllabus will change etc etc.
