Hello Student, could you please describe your question a little more? Are you asking about the electrical appliance rules of a particular college, hostel, university or accommodation?

the official hostel page confirms that the hostels have strict safety and discipline rules, but I could not find a published rule specifically mentioning hair dryers.
So, I wouldn't assume that a hair dryer is definitely allowed. Hair dryers are electrical appliances and some hostels restrict high-power appliances because of electrical-load and safety concerns.
