With about 560 marks & rank 19100 in NEET do I have any chance of seat in government college in Punjab with general merit

With 560 marks you can easily get the three medical colleges in the state under state qouta. Cutoff marks of each college was

• GMC, Amritsar- 523 (13969)
• GMC, Patiala- 537 ( 10363)
• Guru giving singh medical college and hospital- 518( 15351)

However if you go by the cutoff rank, then you cannot make it to any of the MBBS government college.

If you are open BDS option then you can easily get both the government dental colleges in the state, under state qouta. The cutoff of both the colleges if enlisted below:-

• Govt. Dental college and hospital, Patiala- 467 marks( 35282 rank)
• Punjab govt. Dental college and hospital, Amritsar- 455 marks (41730rank)

Dear Sumesh, in 2018 under State Quota, 518 marks secured a seat in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College under General Category. With 560 marks going with previous cut offs, you have a fair chance at:
GMC, Patiala
GMC, Amritsar.
