IIEST, Shibpur offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology a nd as per JoSAA counselling , the opening rank for admission in 2020 (females only) for SC - Home State was 459 while the closing rank (females only) for the same was 2417.
However, as per Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling , the opening rank for admission in 2020 (females only) for SC - Home State was 20878 while that of closing rank was 87176. So, I guess you have noticed the huge variation in Cut-offs as far the counselling organizations and procedures are concerned.
I hope all this information will help you to clear your doubts. I think it will be better to answer in terms of ranks instead of percentiles as the admission procedures generally take rankings into account, rather than considering percentiles.
