Let number days taken to complete job by both raghu and somadatta be x

Number of days taken to complete job by raghu alone = x+16

Number of days taken to complete job by somadatta alone =x+36

As per the question ,

x+16+x+36=x

2x+52=x

x=-52=52days

Number of days taken to complete job by somadatta = x+36

=52+36

=88 days
