There is no fixed set of companies that will give you a job on the basis of your GATE score, and there are various variables that are consideration. That being said, if you have a good GATE score you may have an edge over others.

In fact, it is the PSUs that offer based on GATE scores, key players include - ONGC, NTPC, BSNL etc.
