Admission on the basis of JEE (Main)15% and 85% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET.
Admission of NIT Hamipur is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). There is no need to apply separately to each NIT. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, comprising of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Joint Admission Board (JAB) conduct and supervise the admission process of candidates to various NITs through centralized online counseling process.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject securing at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
