    • Candidates will be called for an counseling in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programmes calculated up to the fourth semester or second year, whichever is applicable -This is inclusive of Languages / EOP and all the subjects they have studied up to pre-final year.
    • Candidates for admission to other UG programmes will be selected based on the performance in the H.Sc., / Intermediate, and for PG programmes based on the performance in the UG degree.

    • B.Sc.degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany / Zoology, Microbiology / Biochemistry/Biotechnology / Nutrition (or) Home Science / Agricultural Science /Medicine with an 60% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects)
    • The aggregate marks obtained in the subjects in UG Degree Programme should be 50% for the following categories:
       
      • Applicants belonging to SC/ST category should submit community certificate
      • Applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. They should submit Nativity Certificate
