B. Tech.
All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.

The academic qualifications as prescribed in Information Bulletin and Application Form of JEE (Main) Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the last two years; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the current year are eligible to appear in JEE (Main). Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in Class 12th /qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main) by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared. JAC is following the same eligibility conditions as adopted by Central Counseling board.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
Lateral Entry to B. Tech.
Three-years diploma (completed) in any of the following branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate* from any recognized Diploma awarding institute/university/board recognized by AICTE:- Computer Engg; Automobile Engg; Chemical Engg, Civil Engg, Construction Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical Engg., Maintenance Engg., Plastic Engg., Printing & Publishing, Production Engg., Public Health & Environmental Engg., Tool & Die Making.
Required Criteria based on Class 12th/Equivalent qualifying examination

3. Mathematics
4. Anyone of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/TechnicalVocational Subject
5. Any other subject. Only those candidates are eligible who have passed class12thwith at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% in case of candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Backward Class) in the above subjects taken together.
