Admission Details

The admission to B.Tech. degree programme at NIT Uttarakhand is done through Joint Seat Allocation
Authority (JoSAA)/CSAB. Admissions were given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by
JoSAA considering score in JEE (Main).

Admissions will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR). There will be three rounds of online counselling followed by one last SPOT round of online counselling. Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in these rounds of counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Science Stream with (60% & 40% weight-age,
respectively) from any recognized board.

All India Rank prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2025 Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech. Passed 10+2/equivalent with 5 subjects Language (Hindi/ English/Punjabi/ Any Other Language)Physics Mathematics Any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject Any other subject
OR
Passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
