Admission Details
Admission for B.Pharm are conducted by Admission Committee through admission tests. Combined Admission Tests are conducted each year, in the month of May/June by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
As per norms of the West Bengal Board of Education, candidates are selected on the basis of their rankings in the West Bengal JEE for admission in B. Pharm.
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to first year of B.Pharm, the candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University : Securing minimum 50% marks for General & OBC (45% for SC/ST) marks in total of the required subject combinations either in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This combination is given in information brochure of UPSEE.
Students appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible for admission subject to the fulfillment of the requirements of education, age and physical fitness etc. as prescribed by the examining body during counseling /admission.
Direct Admission to B.Pharm Second Year (For Diploma holders)
Candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks for General & OBC (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education/or its equivalent are eligible for direct admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Pharm course.
Candidates qualified in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JEE.) and 10+2 examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other approved board /university of India with 45% marks and 40% for SC/ST in combination of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, are eligible for applying to this course.
Admission of Lateral Entry students - D. Pharmacy students interested in B.Pharm course has to appear in West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET)
