• Admission is offered through MAT or West Bengal JEMAT. A graduate in any discipline from any Indian or Foreign University recognised by AIU / AICTE or other accreditation bodies. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
• Candidates with valid MAT score are required to apply for appearing in a group discussion and personal interview. Selection will be on the basis of examination scores, academic credentials, weightage for work experience, group discussion and personal interview.

IISWBM gets the CAT score of the candidates who have applied for admission into IISWBM from the IIM admission committee. On the basis of a cut-off-mark, the candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata or other centres outside West Bengal.
The final list of the selected candidates is prepared strictly on the basis of merit.

• The candidates who have passed (10+2) examination are required to qualify in the MAT / CMAT / JEMAT Score / Rank. The students are admitted in the MBA through and the marks obtained in the graduation level examination followed by group discussion and interview.

Honours with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD) candidates or equivalent course where Honours courses are not available, from a recognized university; Graduates in any professional course (Engineering, etc.) LL.B (5 years) of a recognized University are also eligible. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination is required.
