An Applicant provisionally selected for admission will be called for an interview with the Principal. The parent or guardian should be present at the time of interview. A call for the interview does not necessarily ensure admission. At the time of the interview, the candidate should produce all the relevant certificates in original.

Admission is based purely on the merit list. Merit lists are generated based on +2 marks.

• Applicants for the degree course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (XII Std.,) under the 10 plus 2 pattern prevalent in Tamil Nadu or its equivalent from other Universities or Boards.                          
• Candidates, who pass the All India Senior School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, will be eligible for admission, provided they pass the examination with a minimum of five subjects of which English shall be compulsory. An applicant should provide an eligibility certificate, from the University of Madras at the time of interview.

Candidates who have passed in +2 Board exams by State Board / Central Board or Equivalent examination with a subject combination of :

1. Accountancy

2. Commerce/ Business Studies

3. Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics/ Business Statistics

4. Any other subject
