Admission Details

Qualifying for admission to IMU CET is mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 12 th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%. (b) The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam (As per DGS Norms).

Relaxation of 5% in English marks will be applicable to candidates who are native of the Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who & both of whose parents were born in those islands & belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.

Pass in HSC / (10+2) from a Recognized Board with 60% Average in PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects). (or) B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Electronics with Physics as an individual subject in one of the years, with an average of not less than 55% marks in the Final Year. (or) BE (or) B.Tech Degree. 50% Marks in English in either the 10th or 12th grade.
If your PCM is below 60% in 10+2 and above 45% you can join the course, subject to the DGS Circular no 2 of 2017, as attached.
