    Admission is done on the basis of IMU-CET Rank.

    The Candidate Qualifying in IMU CET or IIT-JEE/any State-level Engineering Entrance Examination (minimum of 40 Percentile score).

    Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects from a recognized board.
    Minimum Marks:
    60% aggregate marks in PCM in 12th Std.
    50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Std.

    AGE LIMIT

     Maximum Age Limit:
    Male:
    General-25 years, OBC (NCL) – 28 years, (SC/ST-30 years)

    Female:
    General-27 years, OBC (NCL) – 30 years (SC/ST-32 years)

    MEDICAL EXAMINATION

    Eye-Sight:
    Unaided vision: 0.5*(6/12) in each eye or 0.67*(6/9) in better eye and 0.33*(6/18) in another eye.

    Eye Health:
    No eye conditions, full eye movement, normal pupil response, good binocular vision. No Color blindness and Color vision tested with Ishihara Chart.

    Physical Fitness:
    Candidates must be medically fit, including eyesight and hearing, as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000, as amended, and need to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by a D.G. Shipping-approved doctor.

    (a) Pass in 12th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.

    (b) The candidate must have secured a minimum 50% marks in the English language in the 10th or 12th standard exam (As per DGS Norms).

    Relaxation of 5% in English marks will apply to candidates who are natives of the Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who & both of whose parents were born in those islands & belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in the eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.
