Admission Details
The admission is through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and JEE Mains examination, and subject to rules and norms as framed by the West Bengal Government and All India Council for Technical Education.
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent Examination from a recognized Council/ Board are required to qualify either in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB-JEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or JEE (Main). Admissions are based on the recommendations made by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the above subjects. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
