Admission Details
Admission to BE/BTech programs shall be made on the basis of prescribed criteria of JEE Main – 2026 and 10+2 PCM. Applicants are required to fill application form one time only and on the basis of single application form, they can seek admission through any mode, as per the details hereunder:
On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026
For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 1-9 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis of merit of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.
On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026/ 10+2 PCM*
For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 10-16 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis following two modes
i. On the basis of merit of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.
ii. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.
On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026/ NEET – 2026/ 10+2 PCM*/ 10+2 PCB
For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 17-18 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis following four modes:
i. On the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.
ii. On the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of NEET – 2026.
iii. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Chemistry and, Biology
iv. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.
iv. Along with the admission during the counselling (Online/Offline), Institute may also offer the direct admission to following BE/BTech programmes subject to fulfilling of eligibilit criteria mentioned in 1.2.

The academic qualifications as prescribed in Information Bulletin and Application Form of JEE (Main) Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the last two years; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the current year are eligible to appear in JEE (Main). Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in Class 12th /qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main) by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared. JAC is following the same eligibility conditions as adopted by Central Counseling board.
Eligibility Criteria
BE/BTech programmes:
To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech programme, the candidate
i. has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject*.
ii. has appeared in JEE Main – 2026.
iii. possesses a good moral character.
iv. is a citizen of India.
v. has passed 10+2 examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.
Required Criteria based on Class 12th/Equivalent qualifying examination
1. Language
2. Physics
3. Mathematics
4. Anyone of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/TechnicalVocational Subject
5. Any other subject. Only those candidates are eligible who have passed class12thwith at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% in case of candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Backward Class) in the above subjects taken together.
