Admission Details
Admission to B.Tech course is done through EAMCET, a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telagana State.
ADMISSION IN BE – 1ST YEAR THROUGH EAMCET -
1. The admission for 70% seats will be done by the Convener of EAMCET under the ‘A’ category.
2 The seats are to be filled by the Convener with the candidates who have qualified in TSEAMCET and possessing 45% marks in group subjects in respect of other than SC/ST/BC and 40% marks in group subjects in respect of BC/ST/SC students.
’B’ CATEGORY -
1. The admissions for the remaining 30% seats will be admitted by the Management under the ‘B’ category, only on merit and as per the norms fixed by the TSCHE.
2 The Management shall announce the schedule given by the TSCHE for ‘B’ category Admissions.
3. The eligible candidates should apply through the online college web portal which is provided by the college.
4. Out of 30% seats, 15% of seats will be filled under NRI status only on merit.
Eligibility Criteria
Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State. The admission pattern to B. Tech is as follows:
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
1. 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAMCET.
2. 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
3. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.
