You can get admission for marine engineering as per your rank. You can try for :

• School of Engineering, CUSAT, Ernakulam
• Cochin University College of Engineering, Kuttanad

Hello Krishna, you hava decent rank in CAT but somehow it does not make eligible for the main campus and as you have told you did not get admission in any college which means it is quite hard to get any seat in round 2 too. But still hope is a good thing but a backup plan wiil do no bad. So, keep some college as a bakup.Kudos.

According to the last few year cutoff variation or figure it is observed that you have chance to get a branch like Information Technology and civil engineering in the ernakulam campus college under the Cusat entrance examination. You get a good rank and attend the councelling of Cusat if you can.

Yes you have a good chance to get college for admission in instrumentation through Cusat entrance examination. It is quite difficult to get seat in 1st round but you can get it in other round councelling if you apply for it at the respective date generated by college on their websites ..

Hello Surendra.Based on your rank in CUSAT Exam you might not get Computer Science in the First Round in main campus at Ernakulam as the cut off rank is under 2500.You can get CS in the further rounds of counselling.Moreover you can easily get Information Technology,Electronics and Communication Engineering at this rank.Please go through the following link for more details.All the best.

Hi , 

There is a total of only 60 seats for the Integrated Msc courses in Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Statistics which was just started an year ago and preference is given for candidates with KVPY. 

The last rank admitted for integrated MSc Photonics in 2017 was 1380 for general category. So the cutoffs for remaining courses would be close . If you can avail reservation,  then you may get admission in the second or third allotment but it also  depends on the score of other candidates applying.  All together it's a bit tough with a rank of 1612 . But don't lose hope .

You have score 1723 rank i cusat rank and if you in geneal catergory it is difficult to get  a seat in computer science engineering in the main campus  as the last rank was 1030 and no of seats is 60.
