Placement of any college student depends upon how much calibre (skill) has a student & no of company visited in campus . If u have a good GPA then u are eligible for attending placement . But your placement depends upon your skill which is judged by interviewer . So we should take attention on skill development . In cusat Ec company is visited & some of the student placed and they have acquired good package.

But you must be aware that the subject is quite tough and if you dont have interest in it then ts not advisable to opt ECE in SOE or CU.

As you mentioned your rank is as 952 in cat exam ..there are chances for you to get admission in integrated M.sc chemistry ...

As per previous year cut-off ..the cut-off for integrated m.sc was 1380...

I would say you should check out the official website of cusat and see the cutoff as you are reserved student you may get and if you don't get soe choose cucek because cusat has only two colleges and both are great so I would suggest just choose cusat if you get

Well 1st of all Congratulations for scoring such a good rank in the Cusat entrance examination for hydrochemistry qnd MSC in environmental Technology. 

Yes you can easily get a college for pursue your study in any stream what you want from both of the courses you mentioned. Now its on you that which course you want to pursue. Colleges are different for both in cusat entrance examination.

As u are general category , chances of getting SOE campus is always naive , but still you can get into cucek for the desired course and then opt for a branch transfer if needed.

But have confidence,u might even get into SOE campus directly.!As i said chances are naive for both.

Yes you have qualified the exam then there are chances to get the admission. You have to wait for the further rounds of the counselling. So wait if seats are not filled with the previous rounds then you will be having the extra rounds for the admission.

Usually all colleges start by end of july or begining of august. However, it depends upon which college you are joining. Regarding submission of documents, some take original documents while some just keep a copy of it. Your documents will be checked once during the counselling process. keep a track of the official websites of particular competitions to know when do the counselling process starts or ends.
