According to the CUSAT 2018 prospectus, 5 percent of seats were reserved for B.Tech Marine Engineering (Residential) programme for NRI. There were 4 seats for NRI out of the total 80 seats.

For MSc (5 year Integrated) Photonics Programme, there were 2 seats for NRI.

CUSAT CAT is organized in almost every part of county. So it's a national level examination.

Also, it is not possible to guess exact number of students taking this exam. But approximately, there may be 20k–30k students.

It’s purely an imaginary data.

Dear Shibili, unfortunately CUSAT doesn't have any correction window facility to make changes to your application form. You can either reach out to he helpdesk at asmissions@cusat.ac.in or call them at +91-484-2577100 /+91-484-2577159. The other alternative is to fill in a new application form. 

Yes ,there is possibility of selection in CUSAT exam but there is a condition that you must be within 5000 ranks.
