Hope this will help you in a good way and can ask for further clarification
Hello Ajay,
Your diploma marks are not enough to get admission in a government engineering college for B.Tech as cut-offs are high. You require 90% and higher to get admission in a government college.
I would suggest you to apply for Private colleges. You will get admission in a good private college based on your diploma marks.
Good Luck!
Hope it helps you.
For any further queries please feel free to comment.
Thank you.
Hello Samiksha,
First of all congratulations for such a great percentile. Now let's come to HPTU, the admission criteria there is that they select 50% of their Candidate from JEE mains results and rest 50% from Himachal Pradesh common entrance test (HPCET). So for a candidate with such a rank it should not be that tough to make it to the college.
Best of luck, and do ask if you have any further queries.
Lovely
You have got 64.5 marks in hpcet exam for bpharma 2019. As far as I know, your marks are very low for you to get admission in any government college but dont lose hope. You can always apply for private Institute for bpharma. Or you can appear for other states examination and study hard. All the best
Hi anshul.
You less marks so you have very less chances of getting government college but because of the reserve category you might get seat .
There are very few government college in Himachal. So chances are very less
I will suggest you to look for a good Private university.
Dear Aman
As you stated that you have 62 Mark's in hpcet which is quite low to get an government college . But you have a quota of son of a ex serviceman, there is 15% horizontal reservation for you in the exam. Horizontal reservation means that it will only apply to those candidates who are from Himachal Pradesh state quota. So if you are from Himachal Pradesh, you have some chance to get a government college but if you are not , then you dont have a chance. In that case try for private colleges which are quite good too. I hope it answered your query
Hello Aditya Sharma, hope you are doing well. The counselling for REC colleges is based on both the HPCET and jee merit .For each exam they consider different cutoffs and based on that they counsel the students.
Hope this helps.
REC abbreviation of Regional Engineering Colleges have been renamed as National Institute of Technology (NIT).
In total there are 31 NITs across the country.
The admission to these colleges, are taken on the basis of result of JEE Main.
The counselling in done by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and the registration will start from 2nd week of June.
Feel free to comment if you have any further query.
Hi there,Hope you are doing well.I am sorry to say but with 84 percentile you can't get any NIT since your CRL rank would be around 150000 and the closing rank for general category is 30000.Hence you won't get any seat in NITHope it would help.Thank You
Hello akshey..
At this number you get very low rank in Hpcet entrance examination for admission in colleges providing several courses. To get a gov college for b.pharmacy you need to score high rank in this entrance examination.
Their is no possibility to get admission in government colleges at this marks. But you can apply for other private colleges affiliated to this exam in the same councelling.
Hope you get that for furthur queries comment below.
Good luck..
