Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test
Hello Akshay kumar,
Himachal Pradesh technical university conducts Himachal Pradesh common entrance exam (hpcet) every year for admission of students into colleges with various courses.
HPCET has minimum cut off of 60 marks for general category.
As you scored 89 marks you have fair chances to get into government colleges for b pharm.
Hope this helps
Dear Akash
As you have stated that you have got 62.5 Marks in HPCET and you belong to OBC category. Now the cutoff for an OBC candidate to get a seat in HPCET is 15% which is 42 Marks. So can appear for counselling. Also you have got good Mark's so yes you have a chance to get in to JNGEC Sundernagar college. You might have to wait till 2nd or 3rd round though.
Hello aspirant
Here are the list of colleges predicted with your rank
Considering you as oc:
1.MIT college of engineering and management
2.shiva institute of Technology and engineering
If you belongs to sc/st:
Here are the list of colleges
1.Rajiv Gandhi government engineering college
2.government engineering college, rampur
3.Bells institute of management and technology
4.Greenhills engineering college, gandhigram
5.himachal institute of Technology
6.IITT college of engineering.
7.SIRDA institute of engineering and technology
8.TRAM institute of engineering and technology
Good luck
As you have stated that you have got 70.44 percentile in HPCET. I would like to tell you that Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test only allows hpcet Mark's to get into college based in Himachal Pradesh. You have not specified your category so I am taking it as you belong to general category. In that case you can't get into any government college as your percentile is low but you can get private colleges with these Mark's. I hope it helped
Hi Vaishali,
Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019 which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form and rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. BEST WISHES!
Hi Anubhav,
Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019 by paying a subsequent fee, which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form but rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. Thus, HPCET qualified candidates don't need to pay any charges for counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. Hi Shivam,
Unfortunately, the marks required to pass the HP CET for OBC category students to be eligible for counseling is 15%, which is 45 marks. Your score is not good enough to be eligible for the counseling program, hence you will not be able to secure admission in any college through the HP CET counseling.
Cheers.
Hi Rahul,
To register for the counseling of the HP CET you need to score 20% in the exam and have a score of over 60% in your 10+2. 20% in the HP CET is 60 marks, and since you have cleared both criteria you are eligible to register for the counseling. Please register for the counseling to see which branches and colleges you are eligible for, that will give you the best idea of your chances to secure a seat in B. Pharmacy.Cheers.
Hi Aman,If you belong to the general category, you have just made the cut-off to qualify for counseling in the HP CET, but you may find it tough to secure admission in a particular branch or college since your rank based on merit will be very low.If you belong to OBC/SC/ST your rank will be slightly better and you may have a higher chance of securing admission in a college with a stream you want.Since you have made the cut-off, register for the counseling so you can see the options available to you.
