My rank in keam is 8144 ...plz tell me the chances of getting admission in government collages .The stream I like to opt is EC

Akshat Kudariya 6th Jul, 2019

Hi Abhishek,

With your rank it is a little bit difficult to surely say that you'll get admission in Government College. If you have any quota or reservation criteria then there might be a chance. You can surely try for top 3 private colleges, they'll take you in,

  • SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulum
  • Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam
  • NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad.

Also you should definitely try for government colleges, with a little luck you might get it. This is a link where you can check all the college's cutoff rank and be a little biore sure. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/keam-cutoff.

All the best.

Sir if I did not get a college in second allotment of keam will I be able to join the college which I got on the first allotment of keam

sakshamselwal2000_9591011 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

Hello Nithya,

If you want to go in the next round of any counseling you have an option to freeze the allotted seat in the previous round of the counseling in which you have to pay some part of the college fees. If you have frozen your seat in round 1 you can get into that college but if you haven't frozen the seat then the seat will be vacant for the next round.

All The Best.

About neet counselling result..will i get an admission in govt seat for any course under keam?

ravi majithiya1171107822 Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019

Considering you as OBC the cutoff marks for the OBC candidates for the keralite were about 416 and above and you have got the 471 marks then there are the chances of getting the govt. seat in the course you have chosen. And also it is not about any course as based on your marks you have many choices to go for and pursue a degree in there. So you have alresdy filled the choices giving the priority to the forestry then there is nothing wrong and you wait for the results and once they are announced then you can approach us in case of any query.

I got allotment through keam for btech agriculture. Should I select it or drop it?

Hello ,

As your query is you have been allotted a seat through KEAM entrance exam for or B.Tech with branch Agricultural Engineering. Look the branch of Agricultural Engineering is in trend of course because government is planning to change the way of farming and for that absolutely the knowledge of Agricultural Engineering will be needed there for the job opportunity will be there in future. So there is no way out to drop it but it all depends upon the college you have selected, if that is a reputed or nice college then definitely the plan to go with Agricultural engineering is high on stake and you should go with but if the college is not worthy then you can go with some other branches but in my opinion if it is nice then you should definitely go with the Agricultural Engineering branch.

I hope your query is solved.

Thank you.
