My ku category rank is 38...should I get mbbs private college.. Or bds gov college

Souradeep_1559130577 Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019

Hello,

First of all congratulations on getting a good rank in KEAM. You may get admission in your desired government college for BDS. The first counselling round seat allotment result for Keam counselling will be announced on July 7, 2019. Kerala MBBS/ BDS admission is a six step process involving registration by the candidate, uploading images, filling Kerala MBBS application form, paying the registration fee, printing the application and sending the form to the conducting body.

The candidate has to pay Rs 500 for BDS/MBBS counselling registration. you may expect to get Government Medical College in Kollam, Kottayam or Palakkad, etc. Hope this answer helps!

256 neet score can i get kerala mbbs private college ? non keralite and ur category. and i registered in KEAM also????? please guide

Pooja Kumari 3rd Jul, 2019
If you are not from Kerala, then you cannot apply for Kerala Private Medical Colleges because admission to Private Medical Colleges is done through State Counselling. And non Kerala students cannot participate in State Counselling. Only Karnataka is an open state which means you can apply for Karnataka State Counselling. Though you have registered for  counselling, you will not get a seat because you do not have the domicile of Kerala. But if you still want to try for a Private Medical College in Kerala, you should try through Management Quota.

My keam state medical rank is 34588, i belong to SC category .. Will i get any govt medical colleges in kerala ?

Pooja Kumari 2nd Jul, 2019
Hello Naveen, that is quite a big rank. Unfortunately there are not those many Medical Seats in Kerala. 89309 was the closing All India Rank which got 385 marks and got a seat in Government Medical College, Palakkad. But again, that was an All India Rank and not State Rank. 385 marks was the cut off for SC Category in State Quota in 2018. But every year cut offs change. So with your rank, it is difficult for a Government Medical College seat.

My Keam medical rank is 4323... I belong to SC category. Is it possible for me to get admission in any medical colleges in kerala ?

Pooja Kumari 3rd Jul, 2019
Dear Naveen, there are around 3007 Medical seats across Kerala in both Government and Private Medical Colleges. With a rank of 4323, unfortunately you do not have a possibility of getting a seat in MBBS. You might get a seat in BDS.

My keam medical rank is 9537.will i get admission to any govt college for bsc agriculture.

Anjali Tanwar 2nd Jul, 2019
Hello Pranav,
As of now their are four Government agricultural colleges in Kerala. If you belong to general category then , according to last year's last rank details you cannot get admission in any of the 4 colleges. The same goes if you belong to EZ category.
But if you belong to BX, KU, SC, ST category then you can get admission in all of the colleges.
If you belong to SC category then you can get the following colleges
  • College of agriculture, kasaragod
  • College of agriculture, wayanad
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

Sir, If I opt for 2nd phase in Engineering, will I get my already allotted 1st allotment, in case I didt get higher option?

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2019
Hello aspirant,
I am here for helping you......
As per your doubt you need to know the following information :
If you have reported at the college you got in the first counselling, then your seat allotted will not cancel even if you attend the second phase counselling.
If not reported then , your seat will be redlined and you have only one chance that is to attend second counselling.
But your seat in the first counselling will be redlined if you get another college that you want in the second counselling just by participating your seat want to be cancelled but if you are determined for another college in second counselling then, only your seat in the first counselling gets cancelled so, be careful while you give options give the college that are better than the college you got in first round.
