Allotment of seats in SVNIT Surat take place only through JoSAA Counselling. To be eligible for JoSAA Counselling, you must score at least 75% of total marks or 65%(SC/ST/PwD Candidates) in 12th Board Examination or Equivalent. Otherwise, the candidate has to secure a position in the top 20 percentile

If you are home state candidate then you will definitely get the college.You can take admission on the basis of CRL(common rank list).

According to previous year closing rank ,the crl closing rank is:51079 for home state candidate.

As per last year cutoff, college was alloted upto rank 160. As there are total 31 seats for the course in which only 16 are reserved for general category. So it seems difficult to get college with your rank. Also wait for counselling letter as if you are

There seems decent chances of getting college with your secured rank as there are 11 seats reserve for obc category students. With having 17 rank under obc category your chances are high but cut off may varies with the no. Of students apply for counselling. It is difficult

Last year the percentile required for  ECE was 15.83% and for Dual degree it was 13.05%

The cutoffs will vary every year based on number of applicants, no of seats available etc.

Yes, You can get Admission at VIT University, Amaravati campus. However the cutoff for each branch was not yet announced or released officially. Since, the campus was established recently. So, which branch you are going to get is unpredictable. Mostly you could get CSE itself. As
