Akul there is as such no disadvantage for taking a year drop for CAT preparation. Only thing is that you might be questioned what you actually did in this one year during the interview and if you say only CAT preparation then it might create a very wrong impression right
you can prepare for gate exam after the 2-3 years of completion of your btech. and you have to do job for 2-3 years for knowledge and for experience. and side by suid eyou can prepare for your gate exam als. but apper after 2-3 years for that exam. all
