I want to take drop of a year for jee but I am confused how to prepare at home

Akshat Kudariya 11th Jul, 2019

Hi Jagdish,

Taking drop is a good idea if you think that you can score better than the previous year. You should have confidence, that's the most important thing. Prepare for those parts first which you think that you can do better this year and cover those sections in which you didn't do according to your expectations. Paper won't be easy as we all know, but it's all just about time management, and knowing the question of which you can definitely get answer. It's important to know what you can answer but the thing which is more important is to know what you cannot answer, so don't waste your time in those questions. Also join online test series if you are preparing at home by yourself, they'll help you to improve your section wise performance and time management skills. Taking regular tests are very important. It's time for you make list of the parts you can definitely score in and don't waste your time much in the parts which you think can be left. Hope you get a good score nest year.

All the best and do ask for any further queries.

Previous year I am preparing for jee main only then my rank this year 95k then I want to know that 1 year also take for preparation again

ka517 Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Hello,
Your question is a bit unclear. If your question is if taking a year to solely prepare for jee mains helps, then i must say, it depends on the work you put in. If you work properly, following proper materials, then yes, there are good amount of chances for you to get a better rank. If you want to know the maximum number of times you can appear for jee mains, then the answer is 3 consecutive years.
Good Luck!

Should I give neet fourth time ?In my first attempt I scored only 171 without preparation in second attempt I scored just 287 and 349 in 3rd

Niraj Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant,

If you belong to the general category then you can give NEET examination any number of times till the age of 25. And for SC/ST/OBC category you can give NEET examination any number of times till 30 years. So it's upon you. You marks are improving every year and also you have a backup as you have taken admission in B.Sc. So you may give fourth attempt. If you can score good like 550+ then you will get good government college. So It's upon you.

Thank you. Hope it helps!

Ns Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019

Hii aspirant..

Master resource book of Arihant Publication is one of the best books for JEE mains preparation for mathematics. But as you are doing your preparation for competitive exam I would advise you to not left any stone unturned. And mathematics is all about practice and practise so if you practice more in more questions you will be able to to improve your skills more.

I would recommend you to not to rely on this book totally but other than this I would suggest you to go for other books as well if you will solve more question then your accuracy and speed will increase.

The other books I would recommend to you for mathematics preparation for JEE mains exams are -

  • NCERT Textbooks for Mathematics
  • NCERTObjective Mathematics Vol 1 and Vol 2
  • R.D. Sharma
  • Complete Mathematics (TMH)
  • Arihant Skills in Mathematics- Set of 7 books.
  • The Elements Of Coordinate Geometry by S L Loney
  • Play with Graphs by Amit M Agarwal (Arihant Publications)
  • Differential Calculus by Amit M Agarwal (Arihant Publications)
  • Integral Calculus by Amit M Agarwal (Arihant Publications)
