it doesn't matter if you are graduate in btech IT there are only four branches in IES i.e CIVIL engineering

mechanical engineering 

electrical engineering

electronics and communication engineering

you just need to be a engineering graduate irrespective of your branch you can choose any of these four

A minimum of 45% in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing /Computer Science) in 10+2 level is a must. For SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates, the required percentage is 40%.
