Your institute's rank cant be compared to national level exams ranks, as the amount of competition there is difficult and different.

Dear Pavithra, 247 marks are too less for a seat in All India Counselling for OBC Category.  Limited no.of seats and high demand amongst the Candidates means high cut offs. For a seat in All India Counselling any score less than 500-550 for OBC Category is impossible to get a

As u say that ur score is 331 nd u r from UR category so sorry to say this u cannot expect a medical or even a dental college with these marks as we know cutoff will be high nd for UR category we need minimun 520 marks to get

You can  surely apply for state quota after applying through AIQ but the necessary condition is that you must not have participated in the second round of central counselling. If you have joined only the first round of central counselling , you can apply for state quota. Participating
