Hi Abdullah,
GATE( Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is conducted by IIT, for admission in IITs for M.Tech Programmes(once you've done your B.Tech). Many PSUs( Public Sector Undertaking) i.e. government based corporations also consider GATE ranks for job offers.
