There is no cut off for nit . These people have their own counselling . You have to apply through their website ( which might be open now ) , pay the registration fees ie around 1500 rs. and then go for admission interaction process (AIP) .

I can vouch for how much better vit,bits or sastra is as compared to shiv nadar university.Vit chennai is extremely good for cse.It is worth joining CSE branch at VIT Chennai. The teachers in the CSE branch are quite average apart from a few who are exceptionally good.

Placements for CSE department are good but your grades, knowledge and skills play an important role. Placement records are improving, reputed companies like TCS , Infosys, byjus etc visit for placements.placement cell provide training and prepare students for better performance.

The minimum marks are around 470 for the college

But the more marks you score, the better the chance of selection.
