Well I am not aware about CMR College, but being an alumni of LPU I can say that yes LPU offers great placements. LPU provides 100% placements to deserving candidates.

I am LPU alumni and currently working with HCL. I would like to share my experience with you regarding placement. I will not be biased to LPU, but will tell you the exact reality and industry expectations. Placement is something, which depends on both the student as well the college or university you are studying in. Both the parties, Student and University have to give their inputs then only, you can good placement.

First let me talk about University or college, In case of placement the job of university is to get the best company for campus placement or get the students connected to maximum no. of companies. Another most important job of the university is to prepare the student well for placements. This is one of the most important job to be taken care by the university.Just connecting the student to the company is not enough, preparing the student for the cracking the interview is more important. I being the LPU alumni, really appreciate the efforts of the Placement Enhancement Programs team for preparing the students from the first semester itself.

They focus on not only the technical part but also on other aspects of cracking the interview. LPU faculties prepare the student from scratch, focusing upon their communication skills, dressing sense,preparing CV, addressing seniors, responding questions, handling situation and many more. LPU prepares the student to such level, that at the later stage of your life, if you are planning to switch, such tips and tricks will be your saviour. So, At LPU , you will be no. of opportunities to give your best.

Now, Secondly Student is suppose to prepare himself/herself for the interview. You need to maintain the minimum eligibility required. Also, you need to focus upon building the resume. Participate in as many as extra curricular activities. At LPU you will be given no. of platforms to build up your resume.

Another important factor towards placement is Training and Internship. At, LPU internship is a part of curriculum so, it is mandatory to attend. LPU also helps you in fetching the best training and internship option. Many of the LPU students even get the Pre Placement offer.

The most crucial and optimal stage of your career would be the final year of your graduation and the one following that. Every student dreams to get placed in renowned companies from college/University itself.Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialization, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc.

As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in.

Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Due to this pandemic situation,Now a days online Induction is going on,University conducted different webinars for freshers,different online talent show is going on. Students are reporting virtually.The live online classes that we will be initiating are much like face-to-face classes only and their effectiveness has already been well tested in the last semester wherein more than 35,000 hours of online sessions were conducted for LPU students across various academic programs. University have planned to start with live online classes on LPU "MyClass" platform.

Placements at CMRIT are really good. The placements this year is around 96% and still counting. It has a lot of big four and fortune 500 companies visiting the campus.They also offer internships which adds on a lot of value during full time placement process.The placement preparation programme is also helpful.The placement department at CMRIT is extremely good and well organised. The placement coordinators are really helpful.

The placements in LPU university which are quite decent. Well-known companies including MNC’s visit the campus for the recruitment. Till now, Cognizant is the biggest recruiter. They has recorded placing 600+ students in a day.

It is difficult to conclude which university is leading in the race but may you find the best.
