Instrumentation Engineering in NITA isn't a very old branch, started off in the year 2009, which, I'd say, accounts for its less faculty count .
The infrastructure and facilities are pretty much as same as any other branch. Labs are well equipped, faculties- very helpful and student friendly.
In terms of pedagogy and student life definitely Vellore Institute of Technology has been doing great. The college also runs bodies such as IEEE etc which provides the students an extended opportunity to work beyond academics.

Both the branches have their own importance, they are both required in industries, you have to choose branch according to your interest, both the branches are equally better.
