There are some ways to get more CGPA at LPU:

1) Attend classes regularly because if your subject attendance is above 90% then you will get 5 Marks without any risk. These 5 marks will be directly added to your final result. Most of LPU subjects semester final marks weightage calculation looks like this:

Attendance-5marks + CA marks (best 2 CA out of 3)-20marks + MTE-25 Marks + ETE-50 Marks. Total of 100 marks.

2) At the beginning of the semester, Always try to give the 1st CA of the subject. Because 1st CA out of 3 CA's is always easy.

3)Only preparing for Tests from ppts that were uploaded by faculty is not enough, you should have to study from textbooks of that respective subject. Because the ppts which were uploaded by faculty only cover a few topics of the subject, if you wanna get full marks then you have to study from textbooks. You don't have to buy textbooks from a book store because you can download most of them from the internet in the form of E-books and 98 percent of Lpu students have laptops

4)Most LPU faculty don't ask viva during the regular practical sessions but there will be viva in the final exams which play an important role in the marks so be prepared for viva of that respective practical. If you don't have any viva questions then try to make some viva questions yourself. Always try to give 100 percent of yourself during the tests and do not compare yourself with the other students around you and do not blindly follow faculty because they teach you only a few about the subject you have to study from textbooks to fully understand the subject. Use the sources around you, Lpu provides free wi-fi to access the internet and LPU has two libraries So properly use the sources. Best of Luck.

The placements record of B.Tech CSE students of Lovely Professional University is highly impressive because so many companies visit the campus for their on-campus placement drives. LPU is One of India's best private university. CSE is Currently much more popular In students so in LPU itself every year more then 6K students enroll in CSE for 1st Year.

The part about placement is that LPU Does brings Company but It depends on. The student if he/she is eligible or not for work. Better think about developing your skills rather then thinking about Placements. Just Don't believe the Crore Dreams. That was the hard work and capability of those students who got it.

And at last Btech Is not other then CBSE exams. Just same as 12th.

It is not a bad college but I'll suggest you to not completely rely on the college for your future. Try getting some knowledge from outside as well. Learn some good coding languages from Edx, Coursera, Udemy, etc. Create a Codechef and Hackerrank account and code there.

For maintaing good grades in Engineering, do your internals very well and don't take them lightly. You will also do well in external without too much effort.
