Some PSUs recruit aeronautical engineering students given that they apply through mechanical discipline in GATE exam.
These include NTPC, BHEL, GAIL, MDL, VIZAG, STEEL and SAIL . Although mechanical students are preferred, aeronautical students are also given chance.
Apart from GATE, Engineering Services Examination (ESE) and ISRO
I will suggest you to opt maths in your msc course.
For pursuing M.Tech afte M.sc the only best way is to go through GATE.

For MIT seats are alloted on basis of TNEA rank and not on basis of marks. However this rank depends upon your marks, level of exam , and how others performed in exam.
