I am sorry to tell you but since your General rank will be considered during counselling, I don't think you have any chance of getting AKGEC or KIET Ghaziabad. Both of these are one of the top institutes affiliated to AKTU. You should apply for ABESEC, ABESIT instead. All the best!

If you're asking about AKGEC, Ghaziabad, then I would recommend you to take CSE if you have any chance because most of the companies that visit the college are IT based companies and recruit most of the cse/IT students. Placements for ece is lesser when compared to CSE. If you're not aiming to go for GATE/PSU then cse is a much better option. Think about what branch you want ,according to what you want to do in future. If you're not much focussed about placements then ece is also a good option. I hope it helps you. Scope of ECE is increasing every day as technology is developing rapidly.

Talking about mobile and communication technology now 5G has evolved with high data speed

Talking about semiconductor industry there will be huge requirement of electronics engineer's in coming years. As government has started it's step towards setting up semiconductor manufacturing company in India .

So the scope for ECE will increase very soon. Coming to about taking ECE in AKGEC, the college comes under UPSEE private colleges and most of the recruiters visit the college only for CS/IT. ECE students also have a good chance to be placed if they have some knowledge of computer programming. The recruiters for ECE are also most of the IT companies. But, if you want to go in PSU sector or in some goverment sector then ECE is good.All the best for your future.

• The candidate should qualify in UPSEE/JEE Mains, entrance Exam conducted by any State Government or any Entrance Exam conducted at a national level with a good rank.

• Based on marks in PCM and Graduation for BTech Courses respectively.

APPLICATION PROCESS

The students seeking admission against vacant seats shall be required to meet the eligibility criteria as of the college. Candidates who fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall collect the Application forms free of cost, either from the College main gate or download it from the college website.
