There are 71 SC seats for AIIMS Bsc Nursing.  A rank of upto 2609(Overall) was called for 1st counselling. You may regard this as the cutoff as 4 times the no of seats rank are called.

You can opt for the Jadavpur University in Kolkata. It is cheaper than AIIMS and one of the best engineering colleges in the country considering all the factors ranging from heritage and faculty to campus culture and placement.

According to your son's rank, chances are less of admission to AIIMS colleges. If he had appeared and qualified the NEET exam then he can try for admission based on his NEET score.

After taking any college from neet counselling, there is a certain day time limit within which you have to leave your seat. It may vary place to place. When you leave the seat, some percent of your fees money is deducted and the rest is returned back to

aiims cutoff percentile for obc usually lies in the range of 96-97 percentile. so there isnt much chance for you this time. but do actively participate in counselling process. goodluck:)
