All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Exam
If you do your MBBS from AIIMS Nagpur, you won’t be eligible for Maharashtra state quota seats for PG (postgraduate) courses. This is because AIIMS Nagpur is a central government institute, and usually, state quota reservations are only for students who completed their MBBS from medical colleges within that particular state’s government or private quota system.
So, even if you are from Maharashtra, your PG seat quota will typically be considered under the All India quota, not the Maharashtra state quota.
For exact rules and updates, you can check the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website or Maharashtra’s State Medical Admission authority.
Yes, if you do your MBBS from AIIMS Nagpur, you will be eligible for Maharashtra state quota for NEET PG. Since AIIMS Nagpur is located in Maharashtra, and you are a domicile of the state, you can apply under the 50% state quota for PG medical admissions in Maharashtra.
good afternoon, if you complete your MBBS from AIIMS Nagpur, you will not be eligible for the Maharashtra state quota for PG medical admissions, even though you're from Maharashtra
AIIMS Nagpur is a central government institute, and Maharashtra’s state quota PG seats are typically reserved for:
Candidates who completed MBBS from a college located in Maharashtra under the state quota system
Candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and completed MBBS from a state-recognized institution within Maharashtra
Since AIIMS Nagpur admits students under the All India Quota (AIQ), your PG admission will be considered under AIQ or Institutional Quota, not the Maharashtra State Quota.
Hello,
Spot counselling for AIIMS (MBBS) is usually conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after all regular rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up) are completed. For the 2025 session, spot counselling notifications will be released on the MCC official website. You need to register separately for it and be physically present at the venue (usually AIIMS Delhi). It’s best to regularly check MCC notifications or subscribe to alerts on their portal for instant updates.
Best of luck!
Spot allotment in INI-CET PG is done by AIIMS Delhi through a centralised online process. It is not institute-specific. All INIs (AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS, PGIMER, etc.) are included in the same unified counselling.
During spot round registration, candidates need to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs. 3 lakh . This amount is common for all INIs and not separate for each institute.
If you are allotted a seat and take admission, the amount is adjusted. If you don’t get a seat, it is refunded.
Hope it helps !
To get admission in MPT Neuro at AIIMS, you need to complete BPT with at least 55% marks and apply through the AIIMS PG/M.Sc. entrance exam (INI-CET or AIIMS paramedical admissions) as per notification.
Admission is based on entrance exam rank followed by counselling. Keep checking the AIIMS official website for updates, as MPT seats are limited and may vary by AIIMS branches.
Hi!
AIIMS mostly allows medical interns or students from allied health sciences like BSc Radiology, MBBS, BPT, etc. So, make sure your background matches.Contact the AIIMS department of radiology via email.Draft a polite, clear email with your resume, purpose of internship, duration you're available, and current qualification. If you're a student, get a recommendation letter from your college and attach it.
Sometimes AIIMS also has internship notifications on their website, so check under the Announcements section regularly.
It may take time to get a reply, but if you're genuinely interested, keep following up.
Thank you!
The last rank for AIIMS Delhi in Round 1 (General category) was around 47 last year. For this year, it might go slightly higher, maybe up to 60, but still stays under top ranks. If you’re from a reserved category, the closing ranks will be different. So overall, to get AIIMS Delhi in Round 1, you need to be within the top ranks in NEET.
If you want to get admission in AIIMS BSc Nursing then you must practice old question papers. The paper has total hundred questions. You get two hours time to finish it. It has questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. You may not get real paper from AIIMS but you can get memory based papers. These are shared by students who gave exam. Careers360 gives these papers and answers. When you solve these papers you understand how exam is done. You also learn time use and mistake check. After solving one paper you check answer then you read weak topics. You keep doing this again and again. Then your marks go high in real exam. This is how old paper helps you.
