Hello aspirant,

Congratulations for getting good rank in AEEE 2020. According to last some years cut offs you have very good chances to get admission into Mechanical branch for Coimbattoor campus. Also if you want to take CSE in Coimbattoor campus then also you have chances of getting admission .

As the cut offs may vary year to year so  you I would also  suggest you to make plan B for the condition in which if unfortunately you may not get the Coimbattoor campus. You also go through the below link in which the cut offs for last year are given this will also help you in planning accordingly.

Hello Sir, i got CSE branch in KIIT, however i changed branch to "electronic and computer science engineering". is it good move..or i can move back to CSE. Second thing, now i got CSE in Amrita Coimbatore. should i stay back with KIIT or should i move to AMRITA Coimbatore. please suggest.

Nikhitha Sai 17th Sep, 2020

Hello student. First coming to branches. Ciomputer science and electronics and communication engineering are  two sort of different ish branches. I would say just one thing. If yu are intrested in physics and everything. then go for ece. Else of this software, technology then go for cse.

Coming to answer of it being a good move or not in terms of placements. As far as I know, cse ha better placements in KIIT than ece. In computer science, almost 90 percent of the students gets placed. ANd the highest package is around 30 lakhs. SO interms of this, I suggest cse is better. So, if you are interested and there is a possibility then I suggest you to shift back to cse.

Coming to Amritha or KIIT irrespective of branches. I suggest that kiit is really good institution and so does amrita too. But When compared. KIIT is the best out of both.

I suggest you to go for KIIT in Computer science branch. Here are the factors to consider KIIT:

Infrastructure and college life:

It has a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice enviroment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

F aculty and quality of education:

All the faculties are well qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the therotical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements:

Placements are really good as many good companies visit this college. Most of the students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from wide range of companies.

According to our website,  this is the good one.

Hello

In Amrita both the branches are well and also have a good scope
Ece here is one of the most active department in the campus .You will find many laboratories working in various fields
Cse here is also good, having a active student clubs like FOSS,members contributing to open  source project  talking to worldwide  conferences and getting into and completing programs like Google summer of code .
Its totally depends on you , in which branch you are interested in .

Feel free to ask ..
