Income certificate or house hold certificate is only necessary if you want to avail fee reimbursement under ews quota or OBC category.

It is only for reimbursement purposes nothing more so don't worry about it.

If you belong to ews category or non creamy layer then you have to issue it for sure

Your rank is good as you are saying that if you are able to get the colleges like AU and JNTUK ... in this process your category play important role if you belong to reserve category that is ST SC then there chances with you to get admission there but if you belong to general category the chances are less to get there..

Hello aspirant!  Let me to inform you that according to previous years cut off andhra university is good for doing Mtech in andhra Pradesh . However your rank is not enough to get admission to andhra university with this rank. You will get the private colleges for doing Mtech with this rank.

But as you mention your category as General so there are  less chances for you to get to college is like J N T U  and AU..
