The anna university will update the syllabus based on the type of Regulations (i.e)Like Regulation 2008,Regulation 2013 etc.The Ongoing Regulation is Regulation 2017 where they will update the syllabus and in Regulaton 2021 they will again update the Regulation.The Ongoing syllabus is not old because it is off

Well you are asking for special reservation in ex-service men,if your father is still in army, you cannot choose the ex-servicemen category as during document verification, it will create a problem in counselling.
