Hey dear, CGPA does not matter here, only your 12th cutoff marks speaks.

You can get CSE in anna university only when your calculated 12th cutoff marks are around 198.75 - 200.

Since anna university is a top engineering college , it requires higher cut off. 

Hey aspirant, for calculation of cutoff for CBSE you should normalise your marks,follow the below steps.

• Identify the highest marks for physics, maths & chemistry as a, b, c respectively
• Let your phy, maths & che marks be x, y, z
• now the formula is as follows

(x/a)*50 + (y/b)*100

Hey dear, Anna university is an Engineering college and doesnot offer any courses on arts and science, whereas it offers some courses in BSc but not in agriculture.

Hey there, 

MIT is one of the top colleges affiliated to Anna University. Hence, you would be needing to score pretty high to get there. With your score, you cannot get into MIT with the branch you desire for.
