It would not be possible for you to get transferred from Indian army to air force or Navy even after applying for AFCAT or Navy ssr because both of them has physics and mathematics as basic requirement in +2 level. Only NDA gives you an opportunity to join

In case of commerce stream, you'll have to appear for the combined defense services exam (CDSE) conducted twice a year by UPSC.

The exam has 3 papers or parts. It covers syllabus ranging from maths(part-1) english(part-2), and history, civics, geography, biology, chemistry, physics general knowledge, current affairs, etc.
