i am student from st . I couldnt secure a govt medical college in Assam my state so my parents are sending me for private bds college in other state. So if i get seat next year can i leave the college next year and will they debarred my from attempting neet.

rajeevanand843 24th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

No you will not be debarred from attempting neet, after getting admission in BDS college also you can still attempt neet exam and if you get govt MBBS college next year you can leave BDS college and take admission in that college.

There is only one major problem will be there, if you got admitted in any private dental college they might ask you to fill bond paper or undertaking which will State the terms and conditions what will happen if you leave the course in the middle. Most of the dental college have rules that you will have to pay whole course fees i.e 4years if you are leaving in the college in middle of the course. For taking admission in any other colleges you will need your original documents and they will not provide you unless you pay bond amount or total course fee.

So be careful while making this decision. It's better for you to take full drop and full focus on neet and then score good to get govt college next year. Try to convince your parents otherwise if you go now in private dental college and you leave in between you might have to pay heavy amount for that.

Predict your admission chances in MBBS / BDS / Ayush seats, use our neet college predictor tool from link below

Hope i may have helped you

Good luck

i got 440 in neet exam in 2022 can I get a medical College in Assam quota considering that I am sc

Krishna Rathod 20th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations on your result.

With the above mentioned marks it will be difficult for you to get a government seat. Because according to last year's cut off for SC/ST category one has to score 450+ but you can still try in mop up rounds. Also you can easily get admission in other private medical colleges or through management quota.

Here are some colleges you can try to get in :

Dighu Medical College, Diphu

Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta

To know about your chances of getting admission in these colleges try NEET UG COLLEGE PREDICTOR tool by tapping on the link below

Ishan Katoch 19th Jul, 2022

Hi Candidate.

Considering your percentile [88.52] and category [ST], your expected CRL Rank is nearly 179089 . You are most probably qualified for JEE Advanced . With this rank, you may get these branches at NIT Silchar:

  • Electrical
  • Civil
  • Mechanical
  • Electronics and Instrumentation
  • Electronics and Communication

According to the data, getting CSE at NIT Silchar would be tough with this rank. https://www.careers360.com/university/national-institute-of-technology-silchar

However, you may get CSE in:
