Robotics engineering is rarely taught and sought in India , be it be NIT or IIT. You have a fair chance outside India, but you can get specialization in Mechanical engineering or electives here.

As the name suggests, robotics is all about conceptualising, designing, manufacturing and operating robots. It is a multidisciplinary field that involves ideas drawn from mechanical, electrical, communication and computer engineering. However, it would be a misconception to visualise robots simply as they are featured in popular culture. A

There is no Automation Engineering in GGSIPU. If you want some similar course, then you can opt for Tool Engineering at DITE, Delhi.

Otherwise you can look for some other universities, if your only interest is Automation.
